With a little time, binoculars and spotting scope the winter reveals that Seewinkel is full of life. Already in February signs of spring appear as the first migratory birds, such as the peewit, begin to return.

The vastness of the Seewinkel scenery is a source of silence and solitude. Tours through the stillness of nature calm the busy mind and body.  During the winter months, its possible to observe with or without a professional guide our feathered guests, winter strategies used by plants and animals, read tracks left in snow and mud, learn more about owls and other birds of prey.

The unique Austrian landscape guarantees an unforgettable experience. Contrary to the alpine region, Seewinkel is accessible without skis and trekking equipment.
