BEST BIKE PATH NETWORK IN AUSTRIA

A total of 970 km, distributed over 29 bike paths, are waiting to be discovered by you. The flat route and the numerous sights allows cycling tours for every taste and every sporting level. The cycle paths are all well marked, have rest areas and are mostly asphalted. TIP: Bike Safari with the St. Martins rangers

ON THE DOORSTEP - SALT POND BIKE PATH B20

The Lackenradweg (salt pond path) with a length of about 48 km is right outside the front door. The bike path leads through the national park Neusiedler See-Seewinkel and offers beautiful nature and the chance to observe some of the approximately 350 native bird species. The bike path is gravel half of the way through the national park, otherwise asphalt.

CYCLISTS MEETING ST. MARTINS

Get directly from the St. Martins Spa & Lodge into one of the best developed bike path networks in Austria or make a stop on your tour at St. Martins Radlertreff (cyclists meet-up).

At Darwin's Bar and on its terrace we welcome all cyclists, daily from 11am, who for once do not visit the thermal baths, but want to strengthen themselves on their bike tour with fresh, cool drinks and regional specialties.

BED + BIKE BURGENLAND

More than 3,300 kilometers of bike paths, 300 days of sunshine a year and a well-developed infrastructure. Burgenland offers the best conditions for enthusiastic cyclists. In the bed+bike establishments certified by the ADFC (Allgemeine Deutsche Fahrrad-Club), cyclists are welcomed with open arms. A comprehensive service ensures all-round well-being! The bikes from Radsport Waldherr as well as the offered equipment are available at the lodge reception during the summer months. Please note that during the winter months we can only provide a reduced number of KTM bikes exclusively for adults. Cultivated vineyards and cornfields, natural steppes, lakes and salt ponds, and of course lots of reeds. Research- and nature-hungry runners can easily explore Austria's largest running park from St. Martins .

8 Explorers-Round
4,9 km

Almost 5 km long loop, which leads into the immediate vicinity of the St. Martins Spa & Lodge, and circles it in a beautifully designed loop. There is much to discover here for yourself.

8a Sports circuit
8.1 km (4.3 km)

By different combination of the Explorers-lap with sport-(8a) everyone can arrange his personal training distance individually. If you run the basic route and the sport route, you cover a distance of 8.1 km.

8b Biodiversity loop
7.0 km (2.2 mi)

By combining the Entdecker-Runde (Explorers loop) with the Artenvielfaltrunde (Biodiversity loop) (8b) in different ways, everyone can design their own personal training route. If you run the basic route and the species diversity route, you cover a distance of 7.0 km.

9 Across the Seeäcker
5.7 km

This route connects the thermal baths with the starting point in St. Andrä and is signposted in both directions. The route starts parallel to the Entdeckerrunde (Explorers Round) (8), but then runs southeast and leads along the campsite to St. Andrä and on to the starting point at Zicksee.
ATTENTION: 5.7 km in one direction from the lodge to St. Andrä!
