BEST BIKE PATH NETWORK IN AUSTRIA

A total of 970 km, spread across 29 cycle paths, are waiting to be discovered by you. The flat terrain and numerous sights allow for cycling tours for every taste and at every fitness level. The cycle paths are all well marked, feature resting areas, and are mostly paved. TIP: Bike Safari with the St. Martins Rangers

ON THE DOORSTEP - SALT POND BIKE PATH B20

The Lackenradweg (salt pond path) with a length of about 48 km is right outside the front door. The bike path leads through the national park Neusiedler See-Seewinkel and offers beautiful nature and the chance to observe some of the approximately 350 native bird species. The bike path is gravel half of the way through the national park, otherwise asphalt.

CYCLISTS MEETING ST. MARTINS

Step directly from St. Martins Therme & Lodge into one of Austria's best-developed cycle path networks or stop by the St. Martins cyclist meeting point during your tour.

At Darwin´s Bar and on its terrace, we welcome all cyclists daily from 11:00 who are not visiting the thermal baths today, but instead want to recharge with fresh, cold drinks and regional specialties during their bike tour.

BED + BIKE BURGENLAND

More than 3,300 kilometers of bike paths, 300 days of sunshine a year and a well-developed infrastructure. Burgenland offers the best conditions for enthusiastic cyclists. The bicycles from Radsport Waldherr and the equipment offered are available during the summer half-year at the Lodge reception. Please note that during the winter months we can only provide a reduced number of KTM bikes exclusively for adults. Cultivated vineyards and cornfields, natural steppes, lakes and salt ponds, and of course lots of reeds. Research- and nature-hungry runners can easily explore Austria's largest running park from St. Martins .

8 Explorers-Round
4,9 km

Almost 5 km long loop, which leads into the immediate vicinity of the St. Martins Spa & Lodge, and circles it in a beautifully designed loop. There is much to discover here for yourself.

8a Sports circuit
8.1 km (4.3 km)

By different combination of the Explorers-lap with sport-(8a) everyone can arrange his personal training distance individually. If you run the basic route and the sport route, you cover a distance of 8.1 km.

8b Biodiversity loop
7.0 km (2.2 mi)

By combining the Entdecker-Runde (Explorers loop) with the Artenvielfaltrunde (Biodiversity loop) (8b) in different ways, everyone can design their own personal training route. If you run the basic route and the species diversity route, you cover a distance of 7.0 km.

9 Across the Seeäcker
5.7 km

This route connects the thermal baths with the starting point in St. Andrä and is signposted in both directions. The route starts parallel to the explorers' trail (8), but then runs southeast and leads along the campsite to St. Andrä and on to the starting point at Lake Zicksee.
ATTENTION: 5.7 km in one direction from the Lodge to St. Andrä!
