Hot Relaxation Treatment
This unique treatment was designed exclusively for the VAMED Vitality World. This relaxing treatment combines the effective massage techniques of a back, reflexology, and head, neck, and shoulder massage with deeply warming elements.
Tense muscles can be loosened up particularly effectively with heat, allowing them to be massaged in a targeted and effective manner. Towels that have been soaked in hot water are used to generate the desired deep heat.
This heat therapy is combined with the massage techniques mentioned above. The treatment begins with a back massage. This is followed by a foot reflexology massage and a massage for the head, neck, and shoulder region.
North
The North Coasts of Europe
The Nordic-inspired treatments are based on the elements of salt and water and bear the mark of the sea.
The north is represented in the region by numerous coastal birds. One example is the common shelduck, which even breeds here. A bird fitted with a transmitter by us has even flown nonstop from the Seewinkel to Hamburg. The Lake Neusiedl area is an important resting place during bird migration. Numerous species from the far north rest here and recharge their energy.
The salt habitats are also characteristic elements of the Lake Neusiedl region, where salt vegetation from distant coastal areas can be found. Another special feature are the ice age relics. They have only been able to survive in isolated spots that remain permanently cool, such as in the Zitzmannsdorf meadows. One example is the root vole, which has a relict population here.
South
The Mediterranean area
The southern-inspired treatments are based on rosemary, grape and lavender and bear the mark of lavender.
Heat-loving species from the Mediterranean region often have their northernmost distribution area in this region. For example, the brightly colored wasp spider is a typical resident of southern Europe, but can also be found here in the Seewinkel. Various grasshopper and cicada species provide the typical Mediterranean soundscape in our latitudes. Some bird species, such as the northern lapwing, also winter in southern Europe around the Mediterranean.
East
The Central Asian steppe
The Eastern-inspired treatments are based on honey, mud and heat and bear the sign of the sun.
The National Park Neusiedler See-Seewinkel is also called the Steppe National Park. It is part of the Eastern European steppe landscape, which continues to Asia. The lowest point of Austria with 114 m above sea level is also located here.
Numerous, often strictly protected species that require open land are native here. Examples include the field eryngo (an umbellifer) or the European ground squirrel (a rodent). The flat steppe landscape is characterized by intense sunlight, as there are no hills to block the light.
West
The Alps
The Western-inspired treatments are based on berries, herbs and oxygen and bear the mark of the mountains.
The Schneeberg mountain is 75 km away from Seewinkel. Accordingly, the region is also influenced by the nearby Alps climatically and by the occurrence of some species. Especially during winter, alpine bird species, such as the raven or the mountain finch, come to Seewinkel to find food. Exclusively here, in this unique region live but also relict occurrences, such as the mountain lizard or the white germer, which actually do not belong in the lowlands.
