EMPLOYEES HELP EMPLOYEES

Employee fund - Helping together

There have always been strokes of fate that completely "derail" people and plunge them into extreme hardship. For such cases, we launched our employee fund "Employees help employees" many years ago, to which any employee who wishes to support can contribute. We regularly organise employee events such as raffle draws, where the total proceeds are doubled by ST. MARTINS Therme & Lodge.

A family thermal baths admission with added value!

ST. MARTINS Therme & Lodge is donating a family day pass for the thermal baths to MOKI – mobile pediatric nursing Burgenland. "Especially in challenging times, we want to bring a smile to the face of a strained family with a wellness day. For a few hours, the children can escape everyday life together with their parents and experience relaxation, fun and joy," says Lisa Brettl, Head of Marketing & Sales at ST. MARTINS Therme & Lodge. Deputy health and nursing professional Evelyn Schneider from MOKI Burgenland shares: "A little time out in a very challenging everyday life with seriously ill children does a lot of good. We are extremely pleased that we can surprise a family with a family day pass for the thermal baths. A day at the thermal baths is a welcome change for the family. Thank you very much for this!"

BirdRace 2022: St. Martins "Trockenschnepfen" sight 107 bird species

The team "ST. MARTINS Trockenschnepfen" set themselves a more than ambitious goal for this year's BirdRace: the three ornithologists wanted to discover more than 100 bird species within 24 hours on the grounds of the ST. MARTINS Therme & Lodge. "We are thrilled ourselves and filled with humility at the biodiversity we have here on the grounds – our experts not only achieved their goal, but more than exceeded it with 107 bird species," explains Managing Director Klaus Hofmann, ST. MARTINS Therme & Lodge. "A remarkable 205 bird species have already been counted on our grounds alone. This is a biodiversity in the immediate vicinity of thermal baths that is second to none."

Water for peace: St. Martins supports UNICEF aid project!

On the occasion of World Water Day on 23 March 2022, ST. MARTINS Therme & Lodge is supporting the UNICEF aid project "Clean drinking water saves lives". Pure and healthy drinking water is not a matter of course in many parts of the world, even when sufficient natural resources are basically available. As a sign of compassion, ST. MARTINS Therme & Lodge is donating € 1,000 to the aid project, which provides drinking water to people affected by war and disaster.

Doing good with the "Red Noses"!

Laughter where it is urgently needed – Red Noses supports people in difficult situations to recover and rediscover their zest for life. ST. MARTINS Therme & Lodge is now turning Shrove Tuesday into "Red Nose Time". Despite wearing FFP2 masks, the staff will bring a smile to guests' faces with a red nose. Red noses will also be happily passed on in exchange for a small donation. "We decided to support this important organization with € 1,000 and have now received 500 red noses for this purpose. We are happy to pass them on as well – and every donation in turn benefits the Red Noses Clowndoctors," explains Managing Director Klaus Hofmann, ST. MARTINS Therme & Lodge. "With a total donation of € 2,000, we are gifting laughter together – which is often priceless, especially in difficult times."

St. Martins promotes the junior staff of SC Frauenkirchen

Even in difficult times, ST. MARTINS Therme & Lodge remains loyal as a supporter of SC Frauenkirchen with a funding contribution of € 10,000, which benefits the 9 teams including the women's team, young talents, and the infrastructure. To ensure a good sporting future for the youth, a camp for Seewinkel children with around 80 participants will take place in the summer of 2022. Thanks to the generous support of ST. MARTINS Therme & Lodge, families are financially relieved, and children are offered a top program and all-day supervision during the summer holidays. Not only is football brought closer, but also other sports such as fishing, tennis, basketball, crossfit, stand-up paddling, and much more. SC Frauenkirchen expresses its gratitude to its helpers with 40 daily thermal baths admissions, which were also provided by ST. MARTINS Therme & Lodge.
