The safaris at St. Martins are adapted to the seasons. They take place all year round and in any weather. It is very important to wear appropriate equipment for the current weather situation. Most important are windproof clothing, sturdy shoes and headgear.
From mid-October, cranes gradually arrive at Seewinkel for a stopover on their journey south. There is a lot to learn about these impressive birds!
Spooky puzzles await brave Halloween friends at the St. Martin's site. The stations must be found using clues and lead our guests directly to a spooky surprise.

Experience nature individually by bike with the St. Martins rangers. The leisurely tour starts directly in St. Martins and leads past the Zicksee to the Lange Lacke. Stops are made to observe birds, identify plants or simply to enjoy.

The Neusiedler See, the reeds, the salt ponds, wet meadows and lowland fens form Austria's largest Ramsar protected area. During this safari you will get to know the different types of water bodies in the region, sail on a small, exclusive boat on the Neusiedler See, and perform a few water ecology tests.

Observe or photograph at eye level from the first mirrored photo hide in Austria. A visit to the hide is an experience for beginners as well as for top professionals. The St. Martins photo hide is located in the renaturalised Pimetzlacke on our own grounds. It is sunken into the ground, the panes are mirrored and therefore you have the birds in an upright sitting position exactly in your field of view.

The Seewinkel is an important breeding, resting and wintering area for many bird species. Go on an ornithological expedition through the Seewinkel and observe the species typical for the season and their peculiarities.
