Thermal baths, Lodge & Farm
Our eco-educational farm covers an area of about 6 ha, embedded in a wide open landscape with our 8 ha natural bathing lake in the immediate vicinity of parts of the national park Neusiedler See - Seewinkel.
The St. Martins Estate is characterized by:
- AGRICULTURE: grassland, animal husbandry
- OFFERS: Time-out farm, education on the farm, animal-assisted intervention (AAI) on the farm
- NATURE CONSERVATION: Our agricultural areas are anchored in the results-oriented nature conservation plan and are managed according to strict conditions.
What our farm animals can do for you, among other things:

In the stable and pasture
Livestock farming at Gut St. Martins has many aspects: From grazing management to animal-assisted pedagogy. During professionally supervised and guided encounters with our feathered or furry colleagues, guests young and old slow down.
The domestic and farm animals at Gut St. Martins are seen by our entire staff – across all departments – as true working colleagues.
Currently living at Gut St. Martins: two flocks of chickens with one rooster each, domestic rabbits, various goats, Jura, Jacob, and Zackel sheep, a mountain sheep, a spectacle sheep, and White Baroque donkeys.

Sheep wool fertilizer

fruit, and ornamental gardens as well as potted plants: The additionally water-storing, pure, natural
sheep's wool comes from our
in-house sheep shearing, which takes place annually on the grounds.
Breakfast egg - For 2
Gut St. Martins is now also a producer. Our mobile chickens – which travel across our grounds in a small coop on wheels – are a lively flock of "German Bantam" chickens with proud rooster accompaniment, whose eggs we also sell in small quantities directly from the farm.
Life in and on the ground
The soil is our basis of life! At Gut St. Martins, we explore who lives in and on the soil with school classes, for example. We discuss how various agricultural practices affect soils, examine different soil types, and work together to determine what constitutes healthy soil.

Extensive grazing at Gut St. Martins
The pastures are grazed by goats, sheep and white baroque donkeys. As a member of the Association for the Preservation of the White Baroque Donkey, we are committed to the continued existence of this old and rare breed of domestic animal. In keeping with the Puszta landscape, the endangered Zackel sheep can also be found on our pastures.
